This weekend was really great! Busy Busy Busy!!! Mom came up on Friday night and stayed until Saturday night.
Friday night, mom gets here and we go to buffalo wild wings to eat. Then after that, we go to the bar and stay till 2:00am! She seemed to have a lot of fun. We drank and watched the mavs game. David and a couple of his frat brothers joined us. Mom made some friends at another table, it was funny. haha!
Saturday we got up and went to IHOP to eat. Then we went to walmart and spent a couple hours buying ALL KINDS OF STUFF for my apartment! About $400 worth! haha! I got everything I need for my kitchen and for my bathroom! The only things left to buy are cleaning supplies and my bed, entertainment center, couch, and dining table. After wal-mart, we went to target and shopped some. Mom bough clothes, and she bought me a new purse and wallet!! Then we went to applebees to eat, and David met up with us there and ate with us. After all that she had to head home because she and I both had to work the next day. It was TONS of fun. I do love hanging out with her. And I am soo lucky to have such a great mom to hang out with and also help me get the things I want/need for my apartment. She will be coming back up this Saturday to help me move into the apartment and hopefully buy a bed!!
Sunday I worked 3-4:30. LONG day. And kinda sucked. But Its ok. I don't work again till Sunday of this week, which is cool and bad at the same time. I get more time for school, but I get less cash. I hate how that works!!
Only 4 more days until I can pickup my keys for the apartment. Time is going very fast, and I am thankful for it.
Every now and then I get kind of scared about moving into the apartment. I am going to be alone a lot. Since at the dorm there is ALWAYS someone around. And David is moving farther than he is now so that will be harder. But at least I will have Jethro to keep me company and help me feel safe.
