Fur balls!

So, went to visit Jethro for the third time I believe. Today was a rainy icky day. So we didn't go for a walk or play in the backyard. We did go to the dog park for a bit, but we didn't stay too long because of the weather. But Jethro had plenty of time to sniff around.

When we got back to Lou's house, we (Ganzy, Lou and I) just sat with Jethro and talked and all. Lou showed me all the brushes that she uses for him, so I will know how to groom a Great Pyrenees. They won't be took expensive all together at PetSmart (along with my awesome 15% discount! haha!) I learned how to groom him, and completely brushed him head to toe! It was actually a lot of fun and relaxing. He loves to be brushed which will make the shedding easier to deal with. We brushed out a small dogs worth of hair...hahaha!

After brushing, she went a cut up a hot dog in some pieces and I practicing teaching Jethro to lay Down. He has sit VERY well, and he connected laying down with treat and praise RIGHT away! He is VERY smart! I am excited to be able to teach him. Since I work at PetSmart, I get a free 6 wk training course, and I have already made the date for training. So, that will help him bond with me and learn.

It was a lot of fun today. I DID take pictures, however I didn't have my memory card in my camera, and I can't figure out for the life of me how to put the pictures from internal memory onto my computer...more messing around with it and I may figure it out. I will get the pictures up ASAP.

I have made a budget for Jethro and it will cost me about $700 in all to adopt him...haha. It is a lot, but it will be worth it. $200 is for his adoption fee..about $200 for all his beginning essentials (food and water bowls, dog bed, grooming supplies, food, food container, leash, collar, name tag, treats, and...other stuff lol). And $300 non refundable pet deposit at the apartment. Good news about the $300 is I can pay it off in monthly increments. So I don't have to pay it all upfront. And I believe my mom will pay for it. So Just about $400 at the beginning of May is what I will need. I should be just fine, and If I need something mom has my student loans and she will help me out.

Wow..this is long. I bet no one would read it...haha!

Um...David made me dinner tonight. I bought everything needed for pepperjack cheese burgers and tator tots at kroger (only $7.60 for the both of us to eat!) And he made AweSOME burgers! I am sooo full still! =] I LOVE THIS BOY LIKE CRAZY!

Classes start up again tomorrow...I am wondering if my class that has been canceled the last THREE times will be canceled again tomorrow. I am soo tired of showing up for class only to see it canceled...and it being my only class...goodness..

Well..I off for now. I shall update with any later news. Peace! God Bless!
