Wow...I hate that I haven't been writing in here...it's been like almost a year.
Well! No time like the present. And I have a lot of things going on in life now and in the future that I would like to blog. Let's see if I can make this work. XD
Ok, sooo...since my last post...sad news...I no longer have Jethro. I actually only had him about a month after I got him. I felt like a didn't give him as good a home as I thought I could. Since I was living on my own, I actually tried to be out and hang out with people more and I felt like he was home alone too often. He was a wonderful dog and even know I miss him sooo very much. But Lou was able to find him an amazing home, so I pray that he is happy.
David and I are doing wonderfully. I love him soo much and we are still very strong in our relationship. And in fact...I moved in with him in Nov. 2010. I actually live with him and 4 other guys in a big 2 story house. Crazy right?! I never thought I would be living with so many guys. haha. But it is good, because David and I have the master bedrooom and we have a huge room and bathroom. So I have a lot of privacy.
Thanksgiving was great. So was Christmas. I was able to have a Christmas with both my family and David's family. And I got to spend Christmas Eve with David. It was a wonderful Christmas.
This is my last semester of college. Which is both exciting and scary at the same time. I am actually looking more forward to it, because I have a plan and things are going well with it. I have recently been accepted into the Texas Teachers Alternative Certification program and I have started the online portion of training. I just have that, and some face-to-face training, and some observation, then I will have a temporary certification and I will teach for one year before I get my actual certification. So if all goes to plan I will start teaching next fall! I hope I will be able to find a job. =] Oh, and I will be teaching elementary school.
My birthday is Feb 22. I will be turning 23..I feel old!
Oh! I was invited to go on a 1 week cruise with David and his family in April. It is SO exciting. I have 2 months to lose about 10 pounds and get nice and toned for the week of sun, beaches, and pool. =]
Well..I guess there is nothing else to tell for now. Hopfully that catches everyone up on the past...what...9 months? haha.
It has been icy and snowing the past week. School has been canceled all week. I feel sooo cooped up. Here is a cute pic of mine and David's snow day today. =]
